Karius

I created this gel imager while consulting for Karius, Inc over the summer of 2016.  It was designed to illuminate DNA on agarose gels, then photograph and store them.  

The design featured an 80/20 frame with acrylic panels, with an internally mounted Logitech webcam and an IORodeo Transilluminator.  The design was updated the following winter with a Basler industrial camera.

The entire project took 4 weeks from concept to prototype to finished product, and is being used in the lab.
